The Firm

NEGREL AVOCAT is an independent law firm that intervenes at all stages of restructuring and insolvency. It advises debtors, investors, creditors, shareholders and judicial representatives (court-appointed receivers and creditors’ representatives).

The firm also acts in all types of business litigation, related or not to distressed companies and insolvency matters (commercial, civil and criminal) from the most traditional to the most complex, before all judicial jurisdictions in France.

Marie Négrel

Marie Négrel has been a member of the Paris Bar since 2010.

She is a graduate of Sciences Po Paris (2008, Masters degree in Legal and Judicial Careers) and of the University of Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne (2009, Master 2 in Public Business Law).

Prior to founding NEGREL AVOCAT, Marie practised for 5 years in one of the most reputable law firms for distressed companies, Bremond & Associés, where she led the Litigation department. Previously, she worked in several law firms dedicated to business litigation.

In the event of economic difficulties or a crisis situation, we advise companies, their managers or their shareholders. We also counsel French and foreign investors in their takeover projects by assisting them in making bids to acquire distressed companies, creditors facing economic difficulties of their debtor or court-appointed receivers and creditors’ representatives.

The firm counsels its clients with efficiency and pragmatism in the resolution of their disputes.

Identifying risks and avoiding litigation are central to our practice. Whenever possible, we will pursue negotiation, alternative dispute resolution and other means to attain our clients’ desired end result.

If such measures do not prove fruitful, we will be prepared to go to court to achieve their goals and will propose them bespoke and effective solutions. We also defend them in legal proceedings initiated against them.
